BIMUN takes place at the Coelgio Carol Baur school, this year at the Querétaro campus. “What makes this conference unique is that, beyond Model, UN they bring in highly respected speakers to talk about today’s events and the future,” explains IEL Americas Capstone teacher Erica Coffey.

Abby C. reflected on the process of BIMUN, “Our first day of sessions started off very intimidating but got a lot better! We discussed our first topic and were close to finishing our resolution paper. We became friends with a lot of the people from other delegations and became a lot more comfortable with them. The sessions were long, but manageable, and it was a lot of fun. All of us did well considering this was the first Model UN conference any of us had ever done.”
